There a many picturesque and interesting places to visit in the surrounding areas, Mougins a 20 minute drive away is renowned for its restaurants and for the many celebrities who have lived there over the years, including Picasso. Much of the village dates back to the fifteenth century and it remains beautifully unspoilt. The livelier and cosmopolitan resorts of Cannes, Antibes, Juan Les Pins, St Raphael and Nice are an easy trip on the autoroute, all within a 30 minute drive. Travelling inland for 30 minutes passing Lac Cassien you will find Fayence perched on a hill top to the north. Fayence is a fortified town which has kept the charm of it’s medieval origins.
